about 45 min outside SLO

It's been awhile since I posted here so I figured I would in case anyone still checks out the old blog.

As per the usual I've been really busy with school and photography. I just purchase
a 4x5 camera (it looks an accordion) and have been trying to use as much as possible. Above is the first shot I took with the camera. This weekend I'm going to head up to big sur. Can't wait to see it's beauty.

I'm up in tahoe enjoying the snow. I haven't made it to the slopes yet but I'll probably get a few days in before I leave. I found this old flower in my sisters house and decided to take a few photos of it to pass the time. I hope everyone is having a great holiday break.

finals are next week and tomorrow I have a Christmas sweater party. is this 1999?

This past weekend Sheila and I went to take some photos in L.A. and visit the new Planetarium in the Hollywood hills. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend visiting. Three more weeks of class then I'll be done for the quarter.

i've been on a multiple exposure kick lately and this is my favorite so far. the ocean looks like it's made of fire or light.

the quarter is half way over already and i can feel my brain swell as i try to cram too much into it. not much else to report.

this quarter looks like it's going to be the toughest yet. It's only the 3rd week and I'm already swamped with projects and exams. I wish I had more to say but my head if fried from all the coding I've been doing.

with school being back in session I haven't had much time for photography. this is about the only thing I've shot all week and it was with my crappy point and shoot digital. This weekend I should have more time to kick back and click.

on another note my roommate, Ben, has been currently going through a mental breakdown. Last friday night he posted several notes on the bathroom door because he was upset that I used the bathroom several times while he was trying to sleep. Not to mention he was pissed after i used some of this toilet paper after he had been using mine for the last 6 months.
